...DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE COLUMBIA BASIN AND THROUGH
THE KITTITAS VALLEY WEDNESDAY...

.Increasing west winds through the Cascade gaps continued low
relative humidities will lead to critical fire weather conditions
across the Kittitas Valley and into the Columbia Basin on
Wednesday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 691 Lower Columbia Basin of
  Oregon and 691 Lower Columbia Basin of Washington.

* TIMING...From 2 PM to 9 PM PDT Wednesday.

* WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
