...PLANNED NOAA WEATHER RADIO BROADCAST OUTAGE APRIL 21ST TO
23RD...

NOAA weather radio transmitters serving eastern Oregon and south
central Washington will be down Monday April 21st and will resume
broadcasts on Wednesday April 23rd, late in the day. The National
Weather Service Pendleton Weather Forecast Office will be
undergoing a computer upgrade that requires the transmitters to
be offline. NOAA Weather radio stations that will be off the air
include: KIG-75 YAKIMA, KZZ-73 DAYTON, WNG-559 FOSSIL, WNG-560
JOHN DAY, WWF-56 RICHLAND, WWF-80 BEND/REDMOND, WWH-27 PLYMOUTH,
WWH-28 HEPPNER, WXL-95 SPOUT SPRINGS, WXM-34 THE DALLES, WXN-21
CLE ELUM, WZ-2522 CARNEY BUTTE, and WZ-2559.

Other products that may be interrupted include climate summaries
and regional/state temperatures and precipitation tables. The
forecast office will continue to operate normally during this time
with most normally scheduled products continuing uninterrupted.
