.DISCUSSION...High pressure over the region will produce dry and
warmer conditions today over the fire. A weak disturbance will
impact the fire this afternoon, mainly impacting wind. Passage of
this system will cause winds to shift, with a brief bump in
afternoon winds. Isolated gusts of 15 to 20 mph could be
experienced, with winds weakening after the passage of the
disturbance by mid-afternoon. Otherwise winds will remain
diurnally driven, producing lighter wind during the overnight
hours. Further warming is anticipated on Monday as the ridge axis
progresses east of the fire.
