.DISCUSSION...
Precipitation chances remain likely (80-90%) over the next couple
of days, focused on Today, and then another "Likely" period late
Thursday and into Friday morning. Wetting rains are also
maximized on Thursday evening and overnight as the lower
elevation areas see CWRs ranging from 25 to 60%. Ventilation
categories will range from good to fair over Oregon Today and
Thursday afternoon, and Good to Fair over the entire area by
Friday.
***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
