.Persistent northwest flow over the warm Great Lakes water will lead
to an extended period of lake effect snow today through Friday, which
may pose travel impacts through the holiday weekend.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
  between 4 and 8 inches. Totals may be locally higher within the
  most intense parts of the snow band. Winds gusting as high as 35
  mph.

* WHERE...Mercer County.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  will impact Thanksgiving and Black Friday travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can be

* WHERE...Eastern Tucker County.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will impact Thanksgiving and Black Friday travel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Scattered snow showers will become more
  numerous overnight into Friday morning.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions
