Past 24 hour precipitation...
Widespread 0.01 to 0.10 inches of precipitation was recorded while
most of western Pennsylvania and the West Virginia higher terrain
received 0.10 to 0.25 inches.
Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from 0.01 to 0.10 inches, with the highest amounts
favoring far northwest Pennsylvania and the Laurel Highlands.
River trends...
Area streams and creeks will see crests occur within the next 24
hours before drier conditions allow for gradual lowering of river
heights into early next week. Please note that localized areas of
ice mainly within the Allegheny River Basin may impact river
height readings. Sudden releases of these ice jams may result in
rapid changes to river impacts that are not accounted for in the
forecast.
