The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southern Jackson County in southern Illinois...

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 935 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Grand Tower, or 11 miles southwest of Murphysboro,
  moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Murphysboro and Carbondale around 940 PM CDT.
  De Soto around 950 PM CDT.
  Hurst around 955 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Gorham.
