...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN AND
SOUTHEASTERN TRIGG COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM CDT...

At 230 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Big Rock, or 12 miles south of Cadiz, moving east at
55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hopkinsville, Herndon, Pembroke, Oak Grove, and Fort Campbell.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 71 and 89.
 Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 10.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
