...West Kentucky NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter Upgrades
Scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2024...

On Monday, October 7th, 2024, NOAA Weather Radio transmitters
located in western Kentucky will receive hardware upgrades. These
upgrades will require the NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts from these
transmitters to be taken offline. The transmitters will return to
service promptly once the upgrades are complete.

The NOAA Weather Radio transmitters that will be affected by this
outage include:

- Mayfield, KY (K I H 46)
- Madisonville, KY (W X J 91)
- Hopkinsville, KY (K X I 26)
- Whitesville, KY (K Z Z 61)

Alternative NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts are available from the
following transmitters:

- Marion, IL (W X M 49)
- Clarksville, TN (W W H 37)
- Bowling Green KY (K I H 45)
- Evansville, IN (K I G 76)
