...Winter Weather Preparedness Campaigns for our Regions...

As the winter months approach, so will the chances for very cold
temperatures, snow, freezing rain, sleet and the impacts from
those weather elements. In preparation for the upcoming winter,
the NWS in Paducah and its partners will hold winter weather
preparedness campaigns for each of the four states it services.
The campaigns are scheduled as follows:

Illinois: November 4-8
Missouri: November 4-8
Indiana:  November 10-16
Kentucky: December 1-7

Winter weather preparedness, safety tips, winter weather
definitions and other information will be shared via the following
social media platforms throughout these campaigns:

A Facebook Live session will take place on Monday November 4th,
2024 at 7 p.m. with NWS Paducah meteorologists and some of their
partners to discuss winter weather preparedness and safety.

loved ones from the dangers of winter weather.
