.Update...A National Weather Service damage survey found two
tornadoes impacted Union County in southern Illinois on the
evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2025. As of 10 PM CDT on Thursday,
April 3, 2025, a total of seven tornadoes have been confirmed to
impact the NWS Paducah County Warning Area from this severe
weather event.

Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado impacted rural parts of southwest Union County,
Illinois. Damage was limited to uprooted or snapped trees and
downed tree limbs along its path. The tornado began near
Reynoldsville, moving north-northeast. It then turned on a
northeasterly path south of Ware, passing just south of the
Pottsville community, ending at Highway 146 just west of
Jonesboro.
