This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A few wind gusts over 40 mph will be possible over northern
portions of southern Illinois through sunset.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A few thunderstorms will be possible late Saturday afternoon
through Saturday night. Locally heavy rainfall and lightning will
be the primary concerns.

Widespread severe storms are expected to push eastward across the
Quad State at some point Sunday into Sunday night. Tornadoes, some
strong and long track, very large hail in excess of 2 inches in
diameter, and damaging winds will all be possible.

A good chance of thunderstorms is forecast Wednesday and Wednesday
night, and again Thursday night. Some severe storms will be
possible Wednesday. A significant heavy rainfall and flooding
scenario could develop late next week.

Spotter activation will likely be needed Sunday afternoon and
evening.
