This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Strong south winds will gust 25-35 mph through early this evening
with a few gusts to around 40 mph.

A chance for thunderstorms returns late tonight. Heavy rainfall and
strong to severe storms are both possible. The severe threat will be
mainly focused in areas from Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Mount
Carmel, Illinois, late tonight.

Moderate to major flooding will continue on many area rivers, but
water levels will continue to fall through the weekend and into
next week. Refer to the flood warnings and statements for more
details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Moderate to major flooding will continue on many area rivers, but

Another chance of severe storms will be Sunday afternoon and
evening when a heightened concern for severe thunderstorms may
develop.

Thunderstorms will be possible for the end of next week, but it is
too early to determine if the storms will be severe.
