.DISCUSSION...
Breezy conditions with mixing heights above 3000 ft AGL will
support good smoke dispersion again on Thursday. N-NW transport
winds around 15-20 kts are forecast. High pressure then settles
over the region on Friday with lower mixing heights and W-SW
transport winds below 10 kts. Poor smoke dispersion can be
expected. While dry conditions persist through the first half of
the weekend, the next chance of a widespread wetting rain arrives
later on Sunday as the next storm system approaches the region.
