...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR HOPKINS, SOUTHEASTERN MCLEAN, SOUTHEASTERN WEBSTER,
NORTHWESTERN CHRISTIAN, NORTHWESTERN MUHLENBERG, CALDWELL, CENTRAL
LYON AND NORTH CENTRAL TRIGG COUNTIES...

At 803 AM CST, Emergency dispatch reported heavy rain resulting in
flooded roads near Earlington and Madisonville in Hopkins County.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Madisonville, Princeton, Dawson Springs, Eddyville, Calhoun,
  Earlington, Livermore, Nortonville, Mortons Gap, Olney,
  Farmersville, Cobb, Hanson, Kuttawa, Sacramento, Island, St.
  Charles, Nebo, Slaughters and Bremen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
