...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the following
  county, Oklahoma.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 139 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    previous thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned
    area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Oklahoma City, southwestern Edmond, Midwest City, Del City,
    The Village, Nichols Hills, Valley Brook, Tinker Air Force
    Base, Forest Park, Lake Aluma, Smith Village and The Capitol.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
