.DISCUSSION...
Central WA:
- Breezy southerly winds continuing through Sunday evening, then
returning Monday afternoon and evening gusting up to 25 mph.
- Chances for showers and thunderstorms (20-40%) return to the
North Cascades Monday afternoon.
Eastern WA:
- Chances for showers and thunderstorms (20-40%) return across
the southeast and northern mountains Sunday night into Monday.
North ID:
- Chances for showers and thunderstorms return across the ID
Panhandle (20-40%) Sunday night into Monday.
Convective showers will continue across Southeast WA and along the
Canadian border through Sunday evening before dwindling overnight.
Cascade gap winds will persist through Sunday evening as well and
will return Monday afternoon and evening. Additional shower and
thunderstorm chances arrive overnight Sunday into Monday over a
large part of the region, with highest chances over Southeast WA
and the southern ID Panhandle. The pattern remains active with
occasional shower and t-storm chances and breezy conditions
through the new work week.
