...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN FAIRFIELD AND SOUTH
CENTRAL NEW HAVEN COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 758 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ridgefield, or 7 miles south of Danbury, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Bridgeport, New Haven, Milford, Shelton, Fairfield, Stratford,
Trumbull, Westport, Monroe, Wilton, Orange, Weston, Redding, West
Haven, and East Haven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
