...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN SUFFOLK AND SOUTHEASTERN
NASSAU COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM EDT...

At 1240 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Jones Beach, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 35 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Long Beach, Lindenhurst, Massapequa, Babylon, Jones Beach, Robert
Moses State Park, Amityville, Lido Beach, Captree State Park, Gilgo
State Park, West Islip, Copiague, East Massapequa, and Seaford.
