Survey Summary:
NWS Nashville has confirmed an EF1 tornado in Wilson County. The
tornado began near Vesta Rd, just east of Nashville
Superspeedway, causing timber damage and minor structural damage.
The tornado continued northeast causing additional damage near
Flatwoods Rd and Murfreesboro Rd. Some homes sustained minor
damage including fences and adjacent trees snapped. The tornado
then Crossed E Richmond Shop Rd, continuing damage to trees and
structures. Continuing northeast the tornado crossed over Cedar
Forest Rd where notable timber damage was found using UAS
imagery. Here, swaths of hardwoods were snapped and uprooted bear
Steeplechase Dr. Some home sustained minor rood damage. The
tornado continued northeast crossing Chicken Rd and SE Tater
Peeler Rd, continuing damage to trees with at least minor
structure damage. The tornado continued northeast crossing
Cainsville Rd and Sparta Pike causing additional timber damage
and damaging some farm structures, then dissipated near Shop
Springs Rd. NWS Nashville would like to thank Wilson County EMA

Survey Summary:
Lawrence County EMA witnessed a tornado touch down in a plowed
field in between Old Waynesboro Highway and New Waynesboro
Highway four miles east of the Wayne/Lawrence county line. The
tornado was on the ground for approximately 30 seconds and moved
about 150 yards before lifting in the same field. The tornado was
estimated to be 25 yards wide. There was no damage from the
tornado.
