Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
1109 AM CDT Sun Mar 9 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A few light showers may impact the far southern counties of the
Mid State through tonight, but most areas will stay dry.

A warming trend will bring above normal temps this week with most
days reaching the 70s. The dry pattern will continue through
Wednesday with RH values dropping near 30 percent each day. This
will result in pockets of marginal fire danger each afternoon.

The next chance of rain will be Wednesday night into Thursday. The
chance is medium and amounts look light.

There will be a high probability for rain and some thunderstorms
this weekend with an 80 percent chance for rain and an 80 percent
chance of receiving more than 1 inch.
