This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Monday

Southwest winds gusting 25 to 30 mph and relative humidity values
dropping into the teens and lower 20s, combined with temperatures
in the 60s and 70s could lead to areas of very high to extreme fire
danger Monday. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for southeast
Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Sunday

A strong weather system will bring strong winds and potential for
strong thunderstorms, fire weather concerns, and snowfall Friday
into Saturday. Expect 30 to 40 mph gusts out of the south on
Friday and 40 to 50 mph gusts out of the northwest on Saturday.

The highest chances for strong thunderstorms will be in far
eastern Nebraska into southwest Iowa Friday afternoon.

The highest chances for accumulating snow will be Friday night
into Saturday in northeast Nebraska. Regardless of snowfall
amounts, any snow combined with the strong winds will lead to
poor visibility and travel impacts.
