This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a continued potential for ice jams to develop along the
Loup, Platte, and Elkhorn Rivers today into Saturday. If ice jams
develop, lowland flooding would be possible. Prepare for quick
increases in water levels.

Extreme fire danger will develop across the area late this morning,
and continue through the afternoon. Winds of 20 to 35 mph with
gusts to 45 to 50 mph are likely, while humidity will be very dry
during the late morning and afternoon hours. A Red Flag Warning
is in effect for the entire area, and a wind advisory for
northeast Nebraska and parts of west central Iowa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Potential for ice jams along the Platte, Loup, and Elkhorn
rivers may continue into Saturday.
