Fire weather concerns remain minimal for today, as rain showers will be on the increase this morning into the afternoon hours. A 16% chance of showers exists at ignition time, with showers becoming likely (greater than 50% chance) by the noon hour today. Showers exit the area after midnight. Winds will be from the southeast at 10 to 15 mph through about 2 pm before they switch to the northeast at 5 to 10 mph by 7 pm. Wind speeds become north northwesterly after midnight as a front will move through the area. Winds could gust up to 30 mph after midnight tonight. GFDI remains at low for today. Mixing heights will be at around 2000 ft during the daytime hours resulting in poor to fair smoke dispersal.
