.DISCUSSION...
Surface high pressure will build through the region today, with
areas of dense fog dissipating by 10 AM. Warmer temperatures are
expected, with highs in the 70s, and lowest relative humidity of
60 to 75 percent. Light and variable winds this morning will
become light southwest at less than 10 mph by afternoon. A cool
front will move through the area late tonight into Wednesday
morning, with increasing shower and thunderstorm chances along
that boundary. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper
60s across northeast Nebraska and west-central Iowa, to mid 70s
along the Kansas and Missouri borders. Lowest relative humidity of
65 to 85 percent is forecast on Wednesday. Winds will switch to
north behind the front at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.
