Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Nebraska/Southwest Iowa
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
1041 AM CST Fri Feb 28 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The combination of northwest winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to

PM. Winds will slowly subside this evening with relative humidity
recovering to 65 to 75 percent overnight.

Moderate to high rangeland fire danger is forecast on Saturday. North
winds will be lighter with speeds of 5 to 10 mph. Afternoon
temperatures will be cooler and in the upper 30s to mid 40s with
minimum relative humidity of 25 to 35 percent.
