...DROUGHT MONITOR IMPROVEMENTS PICK UP SPEED...

.SYNOPSIS:

Widespread expansion and worsening of drought conditions continue
after the historically dry conditions of September and October
2024. Extreme Drought (D3) has now developed in a small part of
northeastern Nebraska. Ninety-nine percent of the forecast area
is now considered to be D1 (Moderate Drought) or worse.

A new graphical Drought Information Statement is now available
online in a PDF format. This statement can be found at:
