of 55W including Bahamas.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...A 1009 mb gale center, remnants of Jerry, is currently
near 30.5N63W. Strong to gale force winds and rough to very rough
seas will persist north of 27N between 59W and 62W through late
today as the system progresses northward. Meanwhile, a 996 mb gale
center is centered off the Carolinas. Its associated front has
become stationary and extends to western Cuba. Fresh to strong
winds and rough seas are noted N of 25N and west of 70W. Winds and
seas will diminish through late Mon as the low pressure moves NE
and away of the forecast area. Looking ahead, a cold front will
move southward to the east of Bermuda Tue into Wed, bringing fresh
to strong winds and rough seas to the waters north of 25N and
east of 70W.
