New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong low pressure centered
about 350 nm E of Georges Bank will track slowly NE tonight into
Mon while passing S and then SE of Nova Scotia. The low will
persist near and E of Nova Scotia later Mon into Wed before
finally moving well E of the region. A high pressure ridge will
prevail mainly to the W and SW of the waters tonight into early
Wed before the ridge weakens and moves E over the area later Wed
into Wed night. A warm front will lift N toward the waters Wed
into Wed night while developing low pressure and an associated
cold front approach the region from the W. The low will drift N
and NW near the New England coast Thu into Thu night as the
associated cold front slides E over the area. The low will drift
N and then NE over New England Fri into Fri night as weak
secondary cold fronts or low pressure troughs move E and SE
across the waters.
