offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong low pressure and an
associated cold front will approach the coast tonight while a
warm front lifts N across the waters. The cold front will move
rapidly E through the area Thu, as the associated low moves N and
NE of the area Thu into Fri night. A secondary cold front will
cross the waters late Thu night into early Fri. High pressure
will build S of the area Sat and Sat night, and move off to the
SE Sun and Sun night as a warm front lifts N near the coast. A
cold front will slowly approach the coast Mon and Mon night as a
high pressure ridge remains anchored off the SE United States
coast.
