Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...A high pressure ridge will gradually move SE across the region today as a cold front approaches from the NW. The cold front will move slowly E across the waters late tonight through Mon night before dissipating near the Oregon coast early Tue. Another cold front will move into the NW portion of the waters late Mon night, then move slowly E across the waters Tue through Wed. The front will weaken and dissipate Wed night as high pressure builds NE across the NW half of the waters. The ridge will persist across the W half of the waters Thu, then quickly move E Thu night ahead of a stronger cold front approaching from the W.
