Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...Low pressure will move across the N waters tonight while pulling a trough SE across the area. The low and associated trough will reach the coast Sat and then move inland. High pressure will build W of the region Sat then persist into Sun night while a coastal trough develops Sat night. The high pressure ridge will weaken Mon and Mon night as the coastal trough persists. The weak ridge will then move over the region Tue and dissipate. A warm front will approach from the SW Tue night, then move NE over the area Wed and Wed night in advance of low pressure approaching the Oregon waters from the W.
