West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure centered just W of
Bermuda will slowly shift SE today. Meanwhile, a warm front over
the far NE waters this morning will lift N of the waters today. A
cold front will move SE into the northern waters today and
tonight, then will stall late tonight through Mon night,
extending NE from the Virginia Capes through the Outer Mid-
Atlantic Waters. A series of weak low pressure centers will track
NE along the stalled front tonight through Mon night. The front
will finally move E of the waters Tue. A secondary cold front
will move E across the N waters Tue and Tue night, while high
pressure builds E to the coast. The high will cross the waters
Wed and Wed night as weak low pressure develops S and SE of the
area. The high will gradually shift NE Thu, maintaining a ridge
across the waters Thu night. A cold front will approach the coast
of the Carolinas late Thu night.
