West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure centered near
Baltimore Canyon will move E today, while intensifying, and then
turn more SE and clear E of the waters later tonight. Another low
pressure will develop over the outer Mid-Atlantic waters Tue
night, then slowly drift E and broaden E of the area Wed through
Fri. A high pressure ridge will build S across the far northern
portions Tue into Wed, and then expand S along the coast Wed
night through Fri night. A weakening cold front will approach the
coast Wed, then move offshore and dissipate Wed night. Another
cold front will approach the coast Fri night.
