West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A low pressure trough will move E
over the waters this evening. Also high pressure will settle
offshore tonight into Fri, then gradually shift E later Fri and
Fri night. A cold front will move into the northern portions Fri,
then stall briefly over the northern waters Fri night into Sat
before lifting back N of the area as a warm front late Sat and
Sat night. A high pressure ridge will persist across the southern
waters Sun and Sun night while the warm front continues to slowly
move N across the New England waters. A stronger cold front will
approach the coast Mon and will move just offshore Mon night. It
will then cross the waters Tue and exit Tue night.
