West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure over the outer
central waters this evening will shift E of the area tonight
through Sat night while maintaining a ridge over the S waters.
The high will then move back to the W over the S waters Sun,
slowly weaken to a ridge Sun night and Mon, then continue through
Wed night. A warm front will lift NE through the N waters later
tonight. A cold front will move SE over the waters Sat night into
Sun night, stall across the central waters Mon, then lift N Mon
night into Tue. Another high will build SE over the N waters Mon,
and then shift E of the region Mon night and Tue. Another cold
front will move SE over the N and central waters Tue into Tue
night, then stall across the central waters Wed and Wed night
while gradually weakening.

39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
