West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...As high pressure remains over the
S waters, a nearly stationary front over the N waters will move N
tonight and Tue as a warm front, with the front being well N of
the area by late Tue. A cold front approaches the New England
coast Tue night, weakening as it moves into and across the N
waters Wed and Wed night. Another cold front approaches the New
England coast from the NW Thu and moves SE across the N waters
Thu night and Fri, becoming nearly stationary off of the
mid-Atlantic coast for Fri night through Sat night. Weak low
pressure may form off of the southeast U.S. coast Fri, currently
expected to drift late in the week and for the start of the
weekend.

Hudson Canyon to Baltimore Canyon including the waters west of
39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W

.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 25 kt. Seas
3 to 5 ft. Isolated showers and tstms, then numerous showers and
scattered tstms overnight. Areas of fog with vsby 1 nm or less.
