West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure centered E and NE of
the waters will remain nearly stationary well E of the area today
through Tue, then finally lift N Tue night into Wed before
dissipating near Nova Scotia late Wed. High pressure over the
northern waters today will drift S into the central waters
tonight and Tue, then move SE of the waters Tue night. Meanwhile,
a weak stationary front will meander across the southern waters
today and tonight before dissipating Tue. A cold front will move
SE into the northern waters Thu night, then become nearly
stationary across the northern and central waters Fri and Fri
night while gradually dissipating. The NAVTEX station at
Chesapeake, VA, is inoperative. Technicians are aware. We
