West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Tonight through Thu, the waters
will be between high pressure over the Great Lakes and broad low
pressure well out over the N Atlantic centered near 34N. A cold
front over the N waters will move S through the waters overnight
through Thu. Thu night, a secondary low should form S of Nova
Scotia, intensifying late Thu night and Fri. On Fri, the low
could be centered as far W as about 65W as the low pivots S, with
increasing winds immediately on the W side of the low. Mariners
should monitor later forecasts and consider avoidance plans as
needed. This second low will slowly move farther E into the N
Atlantic Fri night through Sat night as high pressure gradually
moves E over the area. High pressure will be over the waters Sun,
shifting E Sun night. Another cold front passes across the waters
Mon and Mon night.
