West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Long period swell from Hurricane
Kirk, well E of the waters, will move across the area today and
into early next week. Otherwise, a high pressure ridge will build
across the waters today and tonight, then shift E Mon. A cold
front will move into the N portions Mon, cross into the central
waters Mon night, then stall Tue into Wed. The front will begin
moving S again Thu. Hurricane Milton will approach from the SW
Wed and Wed night, then move E across the far S portions Thu and
Thu night while transitioning into a post- tropical cyclone. All
marine interests should closely monitor the latest forecasts from
the National Hurricane Center.
