New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A surface trough will cross
the waters tonight and move E of the area by Fri. High pressure
will move E from the Virginia Capes tonight, extending a ridge N
across the waters through Fri. The ridge will move SE of the area
late Fri ahead of a warm front lifting NE across the region Fri
night into Sat. A cold front will approach the New England coast
Sat, move into the Gulf of Maine Sat night, then pass SE of the
waters Sun. High pressure will build into the area Sun night and
Mon before moving E of the region Mon night. An area of low
pressure will develop along the New England coast Mon night and
move NE into the Gulf of Maine pulling a cold front across the
waters Tue and then E of the area Tue night. A secondary surface
trough will cross the waters Tue night.

becoming W. Seas 3 to 6 ft.
