Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure will continue to build over the area today through tonight. The high will gradually shift NE Sat through Sun as a coastal low moves N just offshore of the SE U.S. The low will strengthen and expand as it moves N, being centered just offshore of the Virginia Capes by Sun night. This broad, complex low will move very slowly E from the Virginia Capes across the Outer Mid-Atlantic Waters Sun night through Tue night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts on the coastal system. This will be a long duration event for the east coast, impactful to the mariner.
