from 07N to 19N W of 55W, the N Atlantic from 19N to
31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh SW winds, moderate seas and
scattered thunderstorms are active south of central Cuba this
morning ahead of a trough over the northwest Caribbean.
Scattered thunderstorms are also active across the south-central
Caribbean following a tropical wave moving into the southwestern
Caribbean, and across Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands near an
upper trough. High pressure over the central Atlantic will
support moderate to fresh trade winds across the eastern
Caribbean through mid week, but a weak pressure pattern will
maintain gentle breezes and slight seas elsewhere.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Jerry is near 25.8N 63.2W at 11 AM
EDT, and is moving north at 14 kt. Maximum sustained winds are
45 kt with gusts to 55 kt, and the minimum central pressure is
1005 mb. Jerry will move to 28.0N 62.8W this evening, 30.3N
62.0W Sun morning, then north of the area to 32.0N 60.8W Sun
evening. Jerry will become post- tropical and continue to move
generally eastward through Mon before dissipating Tue morning.
Meanwhile a 1004 mb low pressure is centered near 30.5N77W,
supporting gale force winds and rough to very rough seas through
the afternoon mainly north of 29N and west of 77W. An associated
cold front will extend from the low center across south Florida
into the SE Gulf of America. Winds and seas will diminish through
early Mon as the low pressure moves north of the area.
