Although the front will gradually dissipate tonight and Thursday, associated moisture will combine with a low aloft to bring the potential for thunderstorms. High pressure will then build and prevail northeast of the area into the weekend. An extra-large west-northwest swell will peak today. $$ Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels- .TODAY...Front stalling over Oahu waters. NW of front, northwest to north winds 10 to 20 knots. Elsewhere, variable winds 10 knots or less. Seas 14 to 21 feet. Wave Detail: Northwest 12 to 16 feet at 15 seconds.
