.Synopsis...A near E-W surface ridge draped across the central
waters will move E as a front nears the NW waters tonight. The
front will move SE over the NW waters Thursday, then stall over
the central waters Friday. High pressure will gradually build N
of the area Sunday.

.TONIGHT...South southwest winds 15 to 15 knots across west
waters...elsewhere, south southeast winds. Seas 5 to 8 feet. Wave
Detail: Northwest 6 feet at 12 seconds. Isolated showers.
.THURSDAY...Front approaching and passing Kauai. West winds 25 to
30 knots around Kauai. Elsewhere, south winds 10 to 15 knots.
Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave Detail: Northwest 7 feet at 13 seconds and
 northwest 3 feet at 5 seconds. Isolated showers, isolated
thunderstorms over west waters. Winds and seas higher in and near
 thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Front stalling near Oahu. Northeast winds 20 to
25 knots around Kauai. Elsewhere, east northeast winds 10 to 15
knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet. Wave Detail: Northwest 10 feet at 13
