.SYNOPSIS...Large N to NE swell will continue to produce rough
seas over the Atlantic waters this weekend before seas slowly
subside next week. Moderate seas will also filter through the
eastern Caribbean this weekend. Otherwise, gentle to moderate
trade winds are expected over the regional waters through the
middle of next week. Looking ahead, a broad area of low pressure
associated with a tropical wave has formed several hundred miles
south of the Cabo Verde Islands. Environmental conditions appear
conducive for gradual development of this system, and it could
become a tropical depression by the middle to latter part of next
week while moving across the central tropical Atlantic and
approaching portions of the Leeward Islands. There is a medium
chance of tropical development within the next 7 days.
