Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough will prevail across the NE Gulf
through the weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will
continue to develop along this trough over the waters near
Florida. Weak high pressure will then prevail into early next
week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.SAT...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Numerous showers and thunderstorms persist east of
northeast Florida where low pressure continues to become
slightly better organized. Environmental conditions are forecast
to be  marginally conducive for further development, and there
is a  medium chance a short- lived tropical or subtropical
depression  could form late today or on Saturday while the
system drifts  northward. This low is expected to move inland
over the  southeastern U.S. Sat night or early Sun. At a
minimum, this  pattern will support fresh to occasionally strong
S winds and  building seas north of 29N and west of 75W. High
pressure will prevail elsewhere.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.SAT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
