See the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center for more information. Otherwise, a stationary front will continue over the far S waters tonight through Wed while slowly weakening. High pressure will build just N of the area tonight into Thu, then shift E of the region Fri through Sun night while maintaining a ridge just N of the area. A weak low pressure will gradually develop across the outer and S portions of the waters Wed and Wed night, slowly drift NW across the area Thu into Fri, and then turn more N to NE along the coast Sat into Sun. The National Hurricane Center currently lists this system with a medium chance of acquiring tropical characteristics, and a tropical depression could form later in the week.
