.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will approach from the W and NW early
tonight, then move SE over the N and central waters overnight
into Mon. The front will likely stall over the far S waters later
Mon into Mon night as high pressure builds in across the N and
central waters. Low pressure will develop along the stationary
front just inland over Georgia and S Carolina Mon night, with the
low intensifying while lifting NE from near the Outer Banks Tue
to near Georges Bank Tue night. A cold front extending S from the
low will move quickly E and SE across the waters late Tue into
Tue night. High pressure will build over the waters Wed, persist
Wed night, and then weaken early Thu. Yet another cold front will
move SE over the N and central portions late Thu before stalling
across the far S waters Thu night. High pressure will build E
over the N waters Fri into Fri night. The front and developing
low pressure will begin to move back to the N over the S and
central waters late Fri into Fri night. Mariners should monitor
the latest forecasts for the intensifying low pressure system set
to impact the region Mon night into Wed, and begin to strongly
consider avoidance routing at this time.
