.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front across the southern waters will
begin merging with Hurricane Milton later today. A cold front
will continue across the waters today, then slowly weaken tonight
and dissipate E of the waters Fri. Hurricane Milton will move E
into the Atlantic from central Florida and across the zones today
through Fri. The center of the storm is expected to remain S of
the waters, but tropical storm conditions are expected in the far
S portions as the storm transitions into a post-tropical cyclone
by early Fri morning. Long period swell from Milton will build N
into the central and northern waters Fri afternoon and persist
through Sat. All marine interests should closely monitor the
latest forecasts on Hurricane Milton from the National Hurricane
Center. High pressure over the Appalachians will extend a ridge E
across the central waters Fri through Sat. A cold front will move
SE across the northern waters Sat, then stall Sat night before
returning N as a warm front on Sun. Another cold front will
approach the coast late Sun night, then move SE across the waters
Mon and Mon night.
