.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the SE portion of the waters will
slowly shift E of the area today into tonight, as a low pressure
trough develops near the coast. The trough should linger over the
area through Mon with a cold front approaching from the N and NW
Mon night into Tue. A low pressure system approaching from the W
will move across the area late Tue into Wed night, and pull a
slow-moving cold front S over the waters. The front will likely
stall over the southern waters Thu and Thu night as high pressure
passes NE of the area. Elsewhere, Tropical Storm Chantal
currently located well to the S of the area will remain S of the
region and move inland over the Carolinas while weakening today
into tonight, before dissipating over the Mid-Atlantic states by
